Essays: well, i thought they were pretty good. i love writing, and am pretty good at it. one talked about how i learned responsibility from an early age when my little sister fell off her bike and broke her arm, the other is really just more descriptive and talks about sailing and my emotions while i'm doing the things i love.
Peer Rec: one of my best friends wrote it, she's a great writer, i haven't read it but i trust she did a really good job
Teacher Rec: i had two close teachers write them, they are well known to write amazing recs and i loved both of them (and they loved me) so i can't see how they would be anything but good. i haven't read them. my college counselor also wrote a rec, she only had good things to say. i also had my athletic director write a rec because she coached field hockey at dartmouth for 7 years, she pulled in the athletic part of my life.

Hook: i suppose this is my problem. i don't really have one? i am just a white girl from a private school in virginia, which unfortunately seems to be working against me. i would sail in college and talked with the sailing coach when i was up at Dartmouth, so maybe that is sort of a hook?

Interview: i interviewed with the lady who is the head of alumni for my region. i thought it went really well, she was so nice and we really hit it off

help please :( i know i have like zero chance of getting in off the deferral list which sucks. if anyone has any suggestions to help, please let me know!!
