PLEASE please chance me! ^^

Hello everyone! I would really appreciate if you could suggest safety, matches or reaches. I'm getting a bit confused with all the universities since there are so many and I can't seem to choose. I would really love to know your opinion.

Not much community service to be honest though I've been volunteering as a patient representative for about 12 weeks now one day per week and a couple of months/weeks work experience shadowing doctors and surgeons (I'm planning to become a doctor) but I don't think that will make much of a difference? Not sure.

Please let me know what you think and if you think some of these may be reaches for me! Suggestions for safeties, matches, reaches WELCOME! THANK YOU :)

I forgot National Arts Honor Society :)

Thank you so much everyone! Do you have suggestions for other universities that I should probably look into? Whether they are safeties, matches or reaches? Also, I didn’t put any Ivy League but do you think it would be good applying to at least one?

I’d apply to Cornell if I were you.

I would! However my first SAT went terribly (in no way Ivy league level) and Cornell requires ALL SAT scores to be sent to them :frowning:
Although not all of them are Ivy Leagues, the ones that only require the highest SAT scores are: Harvard, MIT, Northwestern, Duke, Dartmouth, Columbia, Brown, Princeton, Vanderbilt and John Hopkins.

Would you guys recommend any from the above? I know they’re all pretty much high reaches but I’ve been told to apply anyways (just in case) :)

Ohh sorry, but before I forget what about Emory (reach?) and University of Miami (match?)?

I swear that’s my last question ^^

…bump? :)

Honestly, you shouldn’t bother including your Spanish scores because of your Hispanic background. My friend’s aunt works in the admissions office and says that she often entirely disregards SAT II/AP language scores when the student already comes from a strong background in that language.
In terms of match/reach schools, I think you have a great shot at Emory, and Columbia too!
