I'm a junior in high school now, but when I was a freshman in 2009, I took a CC (At Pasadena City College) for spanish for just a few weeks before I dropped out. I called the admissions office and they dropped the class for me, or so I thought. Now (2 years later), I go back to my CC, believing I have no previous record, and I took classes and got an A in philosophy. However, when I looked at my transcript, there was AN F FROM SPANISH 2 YEARS AGO! but I dropped the course! WHAT DO I DO? I am an honor student, I have a 4.2/3.98 GPA, and I simply CANNOT have an F on my college transcript!!!! Can I sue?? Do you think if I ask kindly and explain my situation, they'll take away my "F"?????? THANKS SO MUCH FOR OYUR RESPONSE!

Just call the school. Take it easy. They’ll either correct it, or tell you that for some technical reason, you failed the class rather than withdrawing, and they can’t change it. You cannot sue…
