Please please help me!!!!

I do well on the SAT math portion, but when it comes to the lit and grammar portion, i am only average. i would really like to increase that part of my score, but i have trouble finding resources to increase my understanding of this portion of the test. for example, we can go online to learn free mathematical equations or formulas. however, when it comes the the english portion, that is harder to study for, i feel. can someone, who has scored high on the portion of the test, give me ideas or websites where i can find more help or direction through this part of the test?? i strongly feel that once i have the study material within reach, i will study hard to do well. but i can only find free math preparation, not anything involving the english portion! please, can you help me reach my goal?? thank you for your interest.

From your writing I can asses that you’re an international student. Well,me too!
:
That’s what I used for Critical Reading.
quizlet.com <- Vocabulary practice
1000 SAT words from SparkNotes (printed them ) <- Vocabulary practice
Barron’s 2400 Aiming for The Perfect Score <- General practice + CR
501 Critical Reading Questions <- CR
Official Study Guide (RECOMMENDED!) <- General practice + CR

From self-assesment I concluded that most of us international students need some rigorous word memorization and a lot of time spent reading critically.

First , start off with learning as many words as you can
Then, start reading and notice how the freshly learned words are used in text/context.
Finally, continue reading and gain as much as experience you can.

The process of gaining experience is quite slow and tedious , so don’t be frustrated if you fail on improving your results in the first 5-6 trials.

As for writing…I can’t give you any advice there. I never studied the grammar of English (except 1-4th grade) . All the knowledge I gained was from practice.
