hi all i was recently accepted to one of my first choice schools, Boston University but my family's financial situation can not provide the needed funds for attendance so i have looked elsewhere for an equally good education at a lesser expense...2 questions here.
the lower end colleges i was accepted to were:
new college at florida
university of buffalo
is new college a good school? their academic rating on the princeton review site is very high and i have heard good things does anyone know anything else?
im wondering if i should just try to find the financial means to go to boston u if new college is not so promising..compared to Boston University how does New college rate?
in addition the counselors at my school are completely incompetant and have failed to help me at all with any of my college endeavors ...would i be able to take out student loans to pay (almost in full) for Boston University? scholarships and all it has not been enough to defer the cost..i really need help here and would appriciate any sort of feed back thanks so much

Since from your username you intend to go to med school, it would not be a good idea to take on a lot of debt now. The single most important factor for med school is not where you went to college (lots of med school students attended their local State U), but your undergraduate GPA. So I would choose a lower-priced school, and do as well in it as you can.
