<p>I found my essays strong, and so did the people who proofed them for me so hopefully that will be a plus. </p>

<p>For UPenn: my mom works there and i have a rec from an graduate/employee/alumni interviewer. </p>

<p>I think you have a 30-35% chance at UPenn. Pros: Interesting Major and Connections at Penn. Cons: Low Rank, Low ACT’s, and no EC’s to back up your prospective major. Should have a 50%-60% chance at University of Chicago.</p>

<p>I’d be a little more generous with your chances at Penn, and a little harsher with Chicago. I heard they were a little stingier last year.
I’d say 45% chance Penn, 55% Chicago.</p>

<p>Only 2% of Penn’s class is not in their schools top 10% unfortunately, of all the schools DS looked at, Penn cares most about rank. So I give you a much better shot at Chicago.</p>

<p>Of course if your mothers influential there, you can join the athletes in that 2%!</p>

<p>My ACT score is low? Their average is a 31 I believe… I have a 33 composite…</p>
