Please please please help me transfer

As a senior in high school, I really didn't know what I was looking for at all in a university, and so I shot in the dark applied to schools up the east coast, as well as A&M and UT (I'm from a suburb of Houston). I ended up at Boston University, and after a semester here, I really just don't think it's a good fit. It's not the weather or the people, I just feel very left out and isolated here. I think I need somewhere with a real campus and somewhere smaller. I really miss that home-y feeling. I was thinking somewhere along the lines of a smallish (3000-6000) liberal arts school? SAT Scores are Math 640, Writing 620, CR 780. ACT composite 31. HS GPA 3.6.
Boston University GPA 3.25, 34 hours credit for the year. I wasn't as involved as i should have been here, and was just overwhelmed, so I don't have the best extracurriculars. In high school though, I was very involved, if that even still matters.

Thank you so much. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated

How much can your family afford to pay?

60K a year

Then you are truly fortunate. Financial aid for transfers usually isn’t very good.

Fortunately or unfortunately there are many liberal arts colleges all over the country that would meet the criteria you have set, and that would be happy to admit you. You should run some of the college-matching search engines (there is one here at CC) using the criteria that now seem important to you.

You also should spend some time in the Transfer Forum. Read through the thread titled “Transfer Admissions 101” that is at the top of that forum for useful ideas.

Wishing you much success!
