<p>ok imma go ahead and start then. i got the first acceptance package from George Mason University yesterday. they don't give FA to international students.
im originally from vietnam, applying from Hawaii Pacific University.
others should be hearing more news this week, so if you dont mind let's keep this helpful thread up and share the good ( or bad ) news.</p>

<p>diablo47, so now youre not even in college yet?! why youre so concern about transferring? pick univ that can really suit you,so you dont have to transfer.</p>

<p>haha i sat for 2 minutes just to figure out that cong is short for congrats, thought it's someone's name. anyways thanks. EC is extra curricular right? I didnt do anything special, just typical high school stuff: captain of math league and soccer team, digital photography, some church stuff, tutoring, community service, piano + some little stuff. anybody else still waiting to hear back from schools? please share the good news.</p>

<p>Um, overall in CA.. yeah :) Not where I am at right now though.. Thank you.. I got accepted to UCB :D Hehehe.. Still waiting for the other university to release the decisions.. If I got rejected by them, I'll go to Cal :D</p>

<p>clam_chowder, i got rejected to most of the schools i applied as freshman this year, and most of the schools i applied are LACs,</p>

<p>Universities suit me better, but only few of the top Us provide generous fa to international students. i am going to find a way to pay the tuition and apply to transfer if i get the money...</p>
