Hey meng, I recommend 10 Real SAT's, and basically the rest comes down to this: Barron's over preps you (tests much more difficult than real thing), while I feel Kaplan is on the ball or slightly more lenient than the real thing. It's all based on your learning preferences

1) 10 Real SATs (or even 8 Practice New SATS is better)...use both if you have time to take 18 practice tests

2) Didn't use Barrons but I've head its killer, esp in math.

3) don't know

4) I used Kapan for writing & was very happy w/ it, for the grammar. I don't know if any book is really that great for the essay.

5) No idea...but I wish I did cuz I sucked on my vocab. =)

use kaplan strategies book.. its good
vocab i just suggest online lists and hit em
11 Practice is good
Offiical is also good but wait off on that
Barrons is not that bad
