I am currently interested in these programs because I am in well range of admission, but I would like people to rank these programs from best to worst for me. *Also, I would like to go to Harvard, Georgetown, Hopkins, Tufts or Columbia for grad school, so please take that into consideration.

The programs are:
American University
Boston University
Carnegie Mellon
Case Western
George Washington U
NYU
Northeastern
Penn State
Seton Hall University
Syracuse
U of Pittsburgh

This is according to "Grant's Guide to International Studies":

Carnegie Mellon (6th overall)

Syracuse (7th)

U of Pittsburgh (8th)

George Washington U (11th)

American University (14th)

Boston University (15th)

NYU (18th)

Get online. Look up the course offerings. Make a list of all the courses that sound great. You want to see heaps and heaps of 400 and 500 level courses that leave you drooling--that leave you thinking that you won't have enough time to take all of those great courses.

Some of the schools you listed do not have very deep course offerings at the junior senior level.

Limited course offerings also means that you may have toruble getting into the great classes--and you may have trouble graduating on time.

hey
thanks for those rankings but where did you get them or did you just make them up ? It doesn't matter which one it is but it would be awsome if you could post the top 20 IR/IS schools if you already have access to any of that information because i can barely find anything on the whole IR/IS undergrad ranking scene.
cheers
