Assignment: Should people take more responsibility for solving problems tat affect their community or the nation in general

Response:

The question "should people take more responsibility for solving problems tat affect their community or the nation in general" suggests that people should be responsible and solve their own disputes. In other words, everyone should mind their own businesses and solve their own problems. In my opinion, people must take responsibility for solving problems that affect their community. Throughout society and life, the evidence to support my viewpoint is pervasive.

Take for example Jason Gill, who solved a dispute among the Black Americans during the 1970's. It was just a jejune day in New Jersey when two Black Americans started to fight. Nobody cared to stop them until Jason Gill, who was also a Black American, came and ceased the fight. The fight started because of a land problem between the two families and Jason Gill, being a Black American was able to stop the fight. If any other person has tried to stop the fight on that day, the fight could have aggravated. So this example shows that it is necessary for the members of a community to solve their own problems.

Another example is a small quarrel in West Birmingham around 1997. It was a dispute between neighbours, Bruce and Felix who were residing in Palm Villa. The quarrel because Felix's dog went into Bruce's compound and defecated there. Bruce was very furious he just trimmed the grass and was planning to have a party that night. The fight was only settled by a family living nearby them. The family suggested that Felix control his dog and clean up the mess made by his dog. If this simple quarrel was to be heard by another community, they would laugh at Felix and Bruce for having no respect to each other. So this example explicitly showed that people should solve problems that affect their community.

Clearly, the examples above show that members from the same community have to solve their own disputes before the fight becomes worse. Look at Jason Gill who solved the problem between two Black Americans single handedly. Also take note of Felix and Bruce's problem which was only solved by a nearby family, not an outsider. Only if every member in a community be more responsible to solve their own problems, may we have a peaceful world to stay.
