The problem with only taking 4 courses is that if you want/need to drop one then you will most likely will be classified as a part-time student. This could effect your FA and scholarship. Also it will difficult to graduate in four years if only taking 4 classes a semester.

Three of your courses appear to be introductory level courses. If that the case, I would add a fifth course assuming that your school is on the standard two semester year. The fact that you are qualified for Calculus 3 indicates you are a good student who is comfortable with math.

If 5 classes becomes too much, you can always drop one.

I agree with the other post about adding one class, and bear in mind you can always drop one after you try them. Find out the deadline to drop without tuition penalty. As for what class to take, I recommend looking at the general requirements for graduation at your school and try to get one of those out of the way. There is more “forgiveness” as far as the school and financial aid with a struggling first year student then later years, so don’t worry too much about now being the most vital time to keep your GPA up.
