Please rate my schedule so far

I am starting my second semester of 10th grade in two weeks and need help deciding my schedule. This is what I have so far:

-Pre-Cal
-Pre-AP World History
-Pre-AP Chemistry
-Undecided
-Undecided

My mom won't let me take anymore challenging classes and insists that I make the other classes electives. She's sort of right since algebra 2 (which I have right now) takes up 90% of my time. However, I don't want to look like I'm taking the easy route. (Btw pre-AP classes are harder than regular classes, but I wish could skip ahead to the APs). The only AP class offered to sophomores at my school is AP US Government, which I've heard is incredibly difficult. I don't think I should take this class as my other classes will demand a lot of work.
That being said, should I self-study any APs to make up for my schedule? Thank you!

Overall, that looks pretty good. Pre calculus is a solid class sophomore year , and ap chem and ap world are both very challenging tests, so those pre-ap classes will hopefully help prepare you for the next couple years.

I would encourage challenging yourself, but I don’t think that a couple of electives that fit within your interests would look bad to an admissions counselor.

In my opinion, AP Gov was the easiest ap class. The statistics agree, AP gov has the highest average scores of any test. If I was given the choice between taking an AP Gov class and self-studying an ap, I would choose taking the AP Gov class.
