In addition to the Ivy League universities (yes, you do have a shot), many of the listed schools are small liberal arts colleges (LACs), which are not too familiar to many internationals. You can turn that to your advantage. Some LACs are just as good for undergraduates as the Ivies (or even better in some respects). Williams College has a good reputation for math and science. Harvey Mudd College is like a mini-MIT, and is part of the Claremont consortium of colleges (meaning you can take classes at several neighboring schools). Other good (but slightly less selective) schools for math/science on the above lists include Reed College and Macalester College. Oberlin and Grinnell are not listed but also have good financial aid and good science facilities.

American LACs do well at preparing students for advanced degree programs ([COLLEGE PHD PRODUCTIVITY](Doctoral Degree Productivity - Institutional Research - Reed College)). Many American college professors send their kids to LACs ([Where Professors Send Their Children to College - CBS News](http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-505145_162-37244508/where-professors-send-their-children-to-college/)).

You need to start submitting applications very soon.
