Test 8 Collegeboard Blue Book.

A true hero is one who possesses inner courage and mental strength to speak against the injustice of society. One such hero was Martin Luther King, the epitome of African American integration into a discrimnatory society; King's "I have a Dream Speech" openly criticized the faults of unequality and racism in an ironic American society which was based on the principle that all men are created equal. In a situation similar to King's, India's Mahatma Gandhi spoke out against the cruelty of British imperialism, during a time when similar acts could feasibly earn a torturous death. The heroic actions of these two men brought balance and peace in to their chaotic socities.
