<p>I have to send it in tonight so pleaaase tell me what you think. Is it too hippy? I tried to make it sound down to earth because my common application essay is rather strange. Any correction, gramatical or of any kind is welcomed. </p>

<p>Because I was raised by my grandma, my education consisted mainly of anecdotes and archaic Romanian sayings such as Sweet talk brings a lot. In time, I discovered on my own that there is a direct proportion between a positive attitude and a noble soul and that an act of kindness can have unexpected outcomes on a person in need. Simply using a constructive attitude in solving problems can change those around you into more optimistic persons. Sometimes its just a matter of who starts first.<br>
We are constantly fighting with ourselves and moreover with others. Why start unnecessary wars when our weaponry may deepen the already existing wounds of others? </p>
<p>Platos advice is a derivative of a formula I had heard a long time ago from my grandmother, one which helped me relate to people more and modeled my perspective. I learned that enthusiasm is transmissible and people change according to the words they hear. This is why we shouldnt be selective or restrain our compliments if we really mean them. Words lead to action and compliments to improvement.</p>
<p>It is said that in our hearts were supposed to have little rooms with unopened boxes waiting to explode with kindness and goodwill. I say these rooms exist only if the architect designed them and once their doors are opened, everybody should be let in. Feelings do ultimately shine.</p>
