i’m a transfer student and i have a few questions about financial aid packages. i thought it would be a good idea to post here so the freshmen can tell me their experiences, since most of you guys already have your packages.

first of all, i was accepted as a transfer may 18 and i clicked the penn plan on-line to view aid. it said aid is available around mid-may…which is now, right?

so i click penn plan and it says “Dear ,”…it doesn’t even have my name. i click to find out the aid they give and it says financial aid: $0. family contribution: $44,300. i completed the fafsa and penn fin. aid and since on every other aid report i’ve encountered they AT LEAST put loans in your aid box, not just $0, i’m led to believe i’m reading a default screen and my aid isn’t available yet.

did this happen to any freshmen when you just received your on-line decision? or do i get absolutely no aid? family income is between $100-150k/year, too, so how does this measure up against what aid i can expect?

thanks!!!
