<p>With all this news about the UW's budget cuts, and then just recently the announcement about freezing spring applicants and taking less kids in fall 09, I'm starting to worry now about getting accepted. I'd always felt that UW was a pretty good match (not safety, not reach) but now I'm starting to worry again... Do you think that I still will probably be accepted with all this bad news coming out??? </p>

<p>mY stats:I'm a Senior at a really good High School in WA State.</p>
<p>46 kids from my HS in class of 2008 are attending UW this year.</p>
<p>SAT 1860: 580 W, 680 M, 610 CR
Cum GPA: 3.77 (my Jr year I got 3.85 with nothing below an A-)
*All math classes were honors (AP this year)
*Only one grade below A- in last 3 semesters (since 2nd semester soph year)
........It was a C+ in 10th grade H English class--teacher was biased and ACTUALLY hated all males.</p>
<p>I'm taking 3 APs: Statistics, Biology, US Government</p>
<p>--I've been involved in 4-H for 10 years (topic of my essay)
--Comm Service in the local music scene (sound engineer) throughout HS
--Played 4 years of Varsity Baseball
--Volunteer at local animal rescue sanctuary
--Been drumming in a 'gigging' band since 8th grade, including shows in Seattle, been drumming for 10 years
--Playing piano for last 4 years</p>
