SCHOOL PREFERENCE
I’m not that picky, but obviously, I’m not going to a girl’s or Islamic school. I don’t want a place that’s ridiculously small or large, but I wouldn’t mind a place with a relatively low or medium student body. Since I’m applying for financial aid, I’ll need a place that’s generous and/or not too expensive.

St. Mark’s School, Mercersburg, Millbrook, Governor’s, Gunnery?

I’d add George School to the list above. Very different vibe from the schools you applied to last time, but I think there might be some nice fits with your interests. They are known for generous FA.

I suggest that you apply to more schools than you have before so that you have a higher chance of going to a boarding school especially because junior year admissions are slim.

You also stated that you are Roman Catholic so local private, Catholic schools can be a good option for you.

Some other boarding schools include:

  • Brooks School
  • Concord Academy
  • Peddie School (Merit Scholarship opportunities)
  • Suffield Academy
  • George School
  • Kent School

You can find more that suits your interests/needs on the Boarding School Review site.
Good luck with your application!
