HAHAHAHA Kant is literally the most boring person in the world. I’d recommend him as a cure for insomnia, but then again, most of the people here need to live up to the (false) image they presented in their applications.

I’m not sure what your interests are, but I really enjoyed A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson. It’s really interesting, and is one of the funniest nonficiton books I’ve read in a long time. I don’t have that much time in the day to read long stories, but if you’re into essays, I’m a huge fan of Chuck Klosterman and Jonathan Lethem.

If you’re trying to put people off with your obnoxiousness and desperation to impress, though, nothing beats printing out scientific studies from pubmed and reading those. Or Kant, I guess.
