<p>Does anyone know of anyone that transfered into the agriculture life sciences department at Cornell University? Tompkins Cortland Community College has an transfer agreement with them, I would like to know do you guys think I will have a chance if I have a college resume like this:</p>

<p>College GPA sounds good, though it really depends on where you go, and what classes you took. 3.6 at a CC probably won't do it. You've got a buttload of volunteering, which may lead one to believe that you did it just as "padding" on your resume. How many of those did you actually spend a lot of time on and were actually involved in something important? I also don't think admissions would like 11+ letters of recommendation. Getting recs from them just supports my theory that you did them all just as padding. Maybe get one or two people from those places to write something. If you've worked with a specific doctor, have him write one. Also if you've worked with the director/president of the american ________ association/society, that would be a lot better than just having a secretary writing one.</p>
<p>oh yeah, and your hs gpa sucks. How is it 82%? You better be transferring for junior year, as they don't care so much about hs record if you do.</p>
