<p>yo so im a new member but a long time lurker and im freaking about getting into one of these programs cuz its been my goal since lk sophomore year. what are my chances at usc, vcu, union, rpi, gw, and nova? my top choice is gw but from what i hear i have lk no shot lol. my "stats" are below...thanks</p>

SAT1: CR 670, Math 740, Writing 800 (hoping to bring up CR this October im averaging ~750 right now)
SAT2: Math IIC 800, Chem 760
Junior APs: US History 5, Chem 5, BC Calc 5
Senior APs: Bio, Stats, Lang, Gov
School Type: I go to an insanely competitive magnet school where all classes are at the honors or AP level
our average SAT this year was 1450/1600</p>

<p>My 2 teacher recs should be good but not phenomenal and my counselor rec should be pretty good. Im getting my third rec from my research mentor and it should be really good.</p>

<p>I think if you can get your M + CR = 1400 or higher, you should be pretty good to go, although even if you can't your other stats: Academic GPA, SAT II scores, etc. should put you on par. I'm assuming your RANK is high as well.</p>
<p>Start thinking of applying to more prestigious and better BA/MD programs as well: Rice/Baylor, Northwestern, Brown, etc.</p>
<p>I think with all the research you have, you have a shot at getting an interview with one or more programs. But you really need to think about what you're going to say during your interviews that will make you stand out to the adcom.</p>

<p>btw happytograduate my school doesn't rank because its simply too competitive...i heard a story about how we used to rank many years ago until some girl committed suicide</p>
<p>If school does not rank, college still determines your rank based on your GPA and class profile. Schools that do not rank provide graduating class profile to colleges.</p>

<p>also do these programs usually only pick one person from a high school? im not sure whos else is applying to bs/md from my school but seeing how 10% of my school is indian im a little worried.</p>
