Please suggest colleges for my friend

<p>He has a 3.7GPA and about 1300 SAT. He wants to major in computer science. He has taken computer science courses for 4 years and has done very well. English, however, is his second language and he struggles sometimes (hence the SAT). Average extracurriculars (Tennis, National Honor Society, etc). He is looking to stay in the eastern half of the US, preferably closer to the northeast but not essential.</p>

<p>He's taking the TOEFL soon and he is doing well on practices thankfully.</p>

<p>He is applying to Penn State, Lehigh, Drexel, and Pitt. What are his chances? What others schools should he apply to? I think he needs more safe schools. I am worrying about him, or am I worrying too much? Thank you.</p>

<p>What do his guidance counselor, the comp Sci teacher, and his ESL teacher suggest?</p>

<p>How much can his family pay?</p>

<p>Is he applying to any of the PSU branch campuses?</p>

<p>They don’t suggest anything. I suppose the counselor is fine or she would object. I am not sure about the financial situation, although I would assume he is going to have to take out loans. He is applying to branch campus Altoona I believe.</p>
