Please suggest possible colleges that are realistic for me...

I have no idea what colleges to pick or what is realistic. I am a junior, but I have gotten some senior leadership positions. Any suggestions would be great. I would like to go into political science or journalism.

I haven't received SAT or ACT scores yet...

Academic:
"Very Demanding" course schedule at my school
Weighted GPA: 3.9

School Activities:
Varsity Cross Country
President of Model United Nations
Captain of the Speech and Debate Team
President of the Academic Excellence for Minority Students
Project Help, Project Imagine (community service groups)
Honors Societies: National Honors Society, Beta Chi Pi, Mu Alpha Theta, National Forensics League, National English Honors Society, Tri-M Honors Society

Outside:
Secretariat of my state's Model United Nations
World Finalist (piano)
All State Orchestra (violin)
various other orchestras
State Piano Duet Winner
taught at a community college
2nd place in a major writing competition
various other placings in music

Last summer, I debated at Emory's Barkley Forum (summer camp).
I've gotten a full scholarship for two years to study piano at UCM.
I also had an exclusive internship at an Ivy League school, where I was paid.

Well it looks like you have excellent ECs and your GPA is not bad, but not excellent, I would also have to say it all comes down to your sat score

If you get 1000-1100: Almost any state college.
1200-1300: Any state college, and some prestigous.
1400-1600: Any state, prestigous, I would also try for the Ivies (you just in case). They dont always look at gpa (good luck).

Your weighted GPA is kind of low. What is your unweighted? Everything else looks decent, but grades are always the first and formost thing looked at.

yah, it’s my weighted GPA…
my grades went downward when i took the heaviest course-load (AP, Honors, classes with upperclassmen, etc.).
