I am a currently a sophomore starting my classes. I took AP Calculus AB during my freshmen year and got a C first semester and failed second semester (I thought I could handle it because I took precalculus during 8th grade). So during this year i decided to retake AP Calc AB to raise my GPA. Is this okay to do?

2) Does student government look good even if i am not president? (Freshmen: Treasurer Sophomore: Spirit Commisioner)
3) I am currently in the STEM program at my high school. Does this help at all?
4) Do i have to take 4 years of spanish to get into a prestigious university?
5) Is it okay for me to retake a course to raise my gpa?
6) How much does your freshmen grades matter?

THANK YOU!!!
