PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT MY CLASSES AND SEE IF THEY ARE OKAY

I am a currently a sophomore starting my classes. I took AP Calculus AB during my freshmen year and got a C first semester and failed second semester (I thought I could handle it because I took precalculus during 8th grade). So during this year i decided to retake AP Calc AB to raise my GPA. Is this okay to do?

Freshmen Classes:
Spanish 1 Sem 1 (i dropped 2nd semester because it was a zero hour and i couldnt get to school on time)
Chamber Orchestra
AP Calculus AB
Honors World History
Student Government (Elected)
Honors English
Honors Biology

During the summer i took:
PE
Health
Spanish 1 Sem. 2

Sophomore Year:
Honors English 10
AP Calc AB (RETAKE)
AP accelerated Calc AB/BC
student government (elected)
AP biology
Chamber Orchestra

During my sophomore year i will take these classes online at BYU online:
Honors Chemistry
Spanish 2

Future Junior Year Classes:
AP English 11
Multivariable Calc
AP Chem
AP American History
Chamber Orchestra
Spanish 3 (considering i do not get elected into Student Government)

during my junior year i will take these classes online at BYU online:
Spanish 3 (if i get elected into Student Government)
Honors Physics

Future Senior Year:
Ap English 12
Differential Equations
AP Physics
AP government
Chamber Orchestra
AP Statistics
Possibly STUGO if elected

so my questions are:
1) Are taking online courses okay?
2) Does student government look good even if i am not president? (Freshmen: Treasurer Sophomore: Spirit Commisioner)
3) I am currently in the STEM program at my high school. Does this help at all?
4) Do i have to take 4 years of spanish to get into a prestigious university?
5) Is it okay for me to retake a course to raise my gpa?
6) How much does your freshmen grades matter?

THANK YOU!!!

PLEASE ANY ANSWERS WILL HELP

Your funny.

1) Yes in fact they can be very good if you use them right
2) It looks like any other club
3) No, it does not help very much for admissions it just puts you in the category of any other special program like AP or IB or any other technical program
4) No, but you should take 3
5) If it will raise your GPA and since you were already so advanced it will look fine, they may even erase the first grade in which case it will look like you took a year off and took AP calc in 10th grade
6) They matter for any school that looks at them.

It’s probably a bad idea to take BC if you just failed AB. You probably won’t get into a prestigious University without getting straight A’s from here on out and being president of SGA and some kind of leader in marching band like drum major. The rest looks fine but I question how much success you’ll have in AP courses f you failed an easy one during the lightest yea you will have in high school.

chill lol
