Thank you so much for taking the time to give your honest feedback  I really, really appreciate it!

Brown and Yale would be considered reaches for everyone, especially unhooked applicants. That being said, I would expect you to get into most, if not all, of your other schools.

You seem like a really strong and interesting applicant. Best of luck!

Brown - Low Reach
Yale - Reach
Swarthmore - Low Reach
Pomona - Low Reach
UChicago - Low Reach
Cornell - Low Reach
Wesleyan - High Match
Oberlin - Match
Amherst - Low Reach
Williams - Low Reach
Georgetown - High Match/Match

Most schools you have here are reaches for most people ( acceptance rate <15%) but if anyone has a strong chance, it’s you.

@Iceribbongirl - I’ll second Tman1005 - you will get into most of these schools, and I think you will be a competitive candidate at all of them, including Yale. Of course Yale and peers have too many competitive candidates, and it’s tough to predict who will get in and who will not. Good luck!

Pomona: Accepted

Thank you so much everybody

Yale: reach (by default, but reachable in your case)
UofC, Brown: slightly lower reach than Yale

I think you’ll get in at all the rest.

Yale- Reach
Swarthmore- High Match
Pomona- High Match
UChicago- Low Reach
Cornell- High Match
Wesleyan- Match
Oberlin- Match
Amherst- High Match
Williams- High Match
Georgetown- Low Reach

Your SAT scores are fantastic, however, if your EC’s aren’t impressive in comparison to others (which I obviously won’t know), the upper tier LAC’s move from high match to low reach. Good luck!

“many clubs”. Sounds like there’s nothing you really care about, or care to focus on. Sure you’ve got good grades, but the way you spread yourself thin and arbitrarily throw clubs onto your resume…
