<p>they can go to deserving athletes as a way for Harvard to compete for sought-after athletes against scholarship schools who can generally offer athletes a spot frighteningly early</p>
<p>The likely letters usually state that you are very likely to be accepted come March and April if you don’t get into trouble with grades or the law. </p>
<p>They scarcely go out to non-athletes but it’s possible.</p>
