PSAT is not a factor in admissions, it does mean scholarship money
I would skip UCLA, and possibly Michigan, altogether. Admission to their Computer Science departments is especially competitive, and out-of-state financial aid is very scarce. I would apply to Temple, Pitt, Stevens, UMass-Lowell, RPI, Drexel (might qualify for very generous aid package), Northeastern (same as Drexel), WPI, Clemson, and Purdue. Remember that you can only borrow $5500 your first year of college. I do not recommend incurring additional debts if you have affordable options.
But, for michigan, I put my information into the net price calculator from the college board and they told me that I only have to pay around 5,000 a year. i probably will not apply to UCLA though.
I will probably add north eastern to my list, it sounds like a great school, just looked it up.
