Please Tell Me My Chances at Different Kinds of Colleges/Universities

Hi, I'm a sophomore.

Background: white male (norwegian father, french mother born in Algeria), small public high school (750 kids), wealthy northeast village-town

Note: My school is very good and sends many graduates to top colleges (many of them Ivies); however, it doesn't offer "AP"s-they call them "Honors" courses.

Freshman Year: 7 classes (maximum), 3 Honors classes (science, language, math), 1 A- in a semester non-honors class. GPA=3.98 UW, 4.40 W.

Sophomore Year: 7 classes (maximum), 3 Honors classes (science, language, math), (I plan to get) all A's. GPA=4.00 UW, 4.43 W.

***For both junior and senior year, I plan to take 7 classes with 4 of them being Honors (2 Honors language junior, 2 Honors science senior)

Class Rank: Probably top 5-10%.

Standardized Test Scores: 640 Biology M, BUT a 5 on the AP
***I plan to take Chemistry, Physics (+AP exam), Math II, and maybe Spanish SAT Subject Tests (I'll actually study for them, unlike with Biology)

PSAT: 1920, BUT I barely studied and I plan to study all Summer for both the SAT I and the ACT.

Extracurriculars: (I will be) Member of Class Committee all four years, 1 Varsity and 1 JV sport Freshman Year, and for Sophomore, Junior, and Senior I'll be VARSITY Cross Country, Winter Track, Spring Track (Qualifying in the STATE meet for each sport). I'll also have done Chorus all four years. In addition, I'll be in Spain for 5 weeks for an educational foreign language program the summer after Junior year.

Volunteer Work: I plan to volunteer many hours this summer and the summer after junior year at my local hospital. The only work experience I've had is occasional babysitting at my neighbor's house.

Recommendations: Since I'm motivated, diligent, and hardworking, I'm sure I'll get many good letters of recommendation from my teachers.

Legacy: None.

*I'd just like to know if it's worth applying to top schools such as University of Chicago, Stanford, Cornell, Princeton, or Duke. Please suggest others. Thanks :)

PS: I was looking around this forum and realized that I pale in comparison to so many applicants. Try to forget I even mentioned top schools like Stanford or Princeton. Do I have a shot at others? Thanks.

Bummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmp

looks like you have strong academics and good ECs.. umm just prepare for the SAT/ACT and aim for 2100+ and i would consider retaking the bio SAT II even though you got a 5 on the AP exam. get involved.. get a job? (if you can) and just continue to do well in school and i think you will have a shot at top schools.. good luck
