what i think is holy **** that's a lot of colleges.

Read about them in a college guide and pick a lot fewer to actually seriously match scores and stuff, IMO

Edit: were those all the results from 1 search at CB.com? b/c when I do that, it always tells me UMiami in OH is the best school for me, which I doubt. Even if I specifically exclude Ohio as a state I like. C'est la vie.

Welll I really have no clue whawt I want to do prolly a smaller student size .... could u go down the list with my stats and say reach/match.... and obviously none are safties...thanks

Cornell is awesome...but it doesn't have a "smaller student size". Cornell has 14,000 undergrads and 6,000 graduate students. It is certainly a large university.

what would i do to raise my chances at the "major reach" schools... oh ya and our GPA is unweighted and with the hardest curriculum availible at my school, won't it be seen very highly considering its a competitive private school anyway?

Your GPA will be viewed based on how your school reports. Just because they don't rank doesn't mean they don't profile your grades. Many schools will report how many student are 4.0 and above, how many are 3.8-4.0, etc. Or they will report deciles without absolute rank. Test scores give adcoms a way to compare across schools with different profiles. You will be compared head to head on SATs.
