:) :( :D   :o  ;) :p

btw Schwaby, where are you going to next year?

I will be attending Princeton University.

congrats... i kinda remember that u got in early.. but then there were quite a few who did on this board... i think shrek2004 was another name that caught my eyes, along with tsuanami1, whom i predicted would get in for sure unless princeton break down or something...

wow. teach me how to use them :p

Enjoy.

 is not 10 chars but it is now :)

wow i never knew u had xanga!

Yeah. I don't do much with it though.

I don't think a 40 drop is too fatal. The error range on the SAT for each section is 60 (+/- 30) points

so ur highest combined score is a 1490? OH NO that is SO bad im so sry for u :(

I feel like puking on my scores. I got 690 Physics and 640 WR.

so my wonderful and great scores are:

660V 690M
680IIC
690Physics
640 WR

not even once broke the 700 mark...

"an 770"

Need I say more? ;)

How strange that poster is. A 770 isn't even that impressive.

shut up. you're part of the problem too.

hahaha, harsh. but still.

the only reason why you should be mad at yourself is that you felt that a 1490 was not good enough for princeton

actually 1490 is good neough for princeton.. but if it were 740 750 other than 690 800.

Suit yourselves, but we'll never know the actual break-down.
Supposedly colleges prefer a higher verbal to a high math, though.

Sorry if I was being mean. I think that a person with scores in the 600s still have a chance of getting into Princeton, but someone with 770 doesn't have that much more of a chance (b/c it's also based on other things), and that person shouldn't be bragging or overly confident about himself.

to be honest, i don't see that as being a huge problem. it seems to me from ur SAT II choices and scores ur more of a math/science person. sorry if i'm wrong...

i got a 1400 (720 V and 680 M) and then on SAT IIs go 800 writing, 730 math Ic, and 730 Bio (M), and i got in ED, don't stress over these things too much. admissions is just a tricky business in general

hey pegdiver. you are right. i applied to be a math / engineering major to all schools.
thx for your comments. comforting and reassuring.

Look, I wasn't saying 770 was good (although it is). I was saying using "an" before 770 is useless.
