IGETC: complete
UC GPA: 3.259
Applied: UCSB (TAG), UCSD, UCD, UCLA
Major: Communications, (Philosophy) alternative
Accepted: UCSB

Please tell me what you thinK honestly, UCSD is do or die for me, and I know I am right on the borderline which is driving me crazy. I know that it will be especially difficult this year because of all the TAG applicants and budget cuts. :(

OMG it’s soooooo close, I do not want to chance you.

You can all but rule out UCLA. Communications is the most competitive major.

I know that about UCLA, my main concern is UCSD… any thoughts?

Why didn’t you TAG?

I guess you could call it a mental sickness… No particular reason… I was just being stupid… don’t worry I have been beating myself up about it ever since January and particularly more harshly these past weeks. This is going to be the toughest month. Honestly, I looked at a plethora of data and it looks like my chances are slight reach taking into consideration the slew of tag applicants and budget shortfalls. It’s almost a certainty there cut off gpa will rise from 3.2 to more like 3.3-3.4. This is significantly not in my favor. Anyway if anyone has any insight feel free to share.
