THANK YOU SO MUCH. Honestly, its so awesome that we can do this to get a general sense of where we stand and our chances. I promise to chance you back or answer questions.... Im kind of a college research addict hehe :D thank you again!! It means a lot to me!

Your ECs are great! Especially those involving medicine. I agree that your SAT scores are your weaknesses, you still got one more shot at it though.
I’m also applying to accelerated med programs, which ones are you applying to? Chance me back? http://http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=1539218

Hi! First off, thanks for chancing me!

Your ECs are impressive, especially the research. Congrats on that! Your GPA and courseload are good. Your main weakness, as you have pointed out, are your SAT scores. If you reach the goals you have set for yourself in terms of test-taking, your chances will be definitely improved. From your ECs, it is clear that you have a definite passion for science, especially biology. I think you are a great candidate for all the accelerated med programs that you are applying too. Some may be harder to get into than others (mainly PLME, from what I know), but I think you should get into at least one of them.

Good luck!!

Your ECs are very impressive! I think the Ivies will be a high-reach for you, but I think you have a strong chance! Your achievements should really stand out, compared to those of other applicants (especially the scholarship!). RPI seems like a low-reach, ideal match for you. It seems a little crazy that your school has five APs as a norm, but I don’t think that would be taken too much into consideration with your grades. I also think you could try to retake the SAT again, unless you’re only sending in your ACT (which is pretty good). Overall, I think you’re pretty good!

Chance me!
hey collegeluva, since my act scores are pretty good, do you think ill be okay?

You have great EC’s and you clearly demonstrate passion, and leadership. Your SAT score, SAT 2 scores are lacking, but I guess your ACT can make up for it.

Wow! First of all, the GPA is good and so are your ECs! BTW, how do you start a Habitat for Humanity in your school? I was thinking of opening one too! Your ACT is also great! I’m also from New Jersey! Gloucester County to be specific!

Good luck! You can accomplish all of these schools in my opinion. NJ represent! :)

Thanks  yeah go jersey kids! H4h has been in my school for years so I just built my way up to the position of president!

Oh, I see! Well, you have a bright future ahead of you! I guess I do too, but your weighted GPA is great! Why is JHU ranked low on your list? I mean, they have a great pre-med program, which is the reason why I want to go there! :)

Well I’m really looking into an accelerated or guaranteed program which jhu doesn’t have. I also heard the atmosphere isn’t as amiable as some other schools. I would prefer to go somewhere where I know I have a seat in medical school reserved for me so I can enjoy college idk just my opinion

The accelerated and guaranteed med programs are actually pretty hard to get into. There was a girl who got into Yale but went to VCU guaranteed med or dental (don’t remember which one). So don’t underestimate them! You have good stats but your bio things were a bit low. However, you still have time to bring them up! Good luck!
