<p>I am an international student from India. I am applying to UMASS AMHERST this fall.</p>

<p>My stats are-
- ACT scores- 27 composite
- Class rank- top 10%
- National level badminton player.
- Involved in a lot of activities such as work (paid), community service, sports such as badminton, cricket, swimming.
- My essays are really very good as far as my counselors and teachers told me.</p>

<p>I’d say you definitely have a good shot, but then again I don’t work with admission or anything haha. I’d say based on being an international transfer student alone would give you a really good chance and you seem to do a solid amount of extra-curricular activites which will look good as well. I got a 30 ACT but got in pretty easy, 27 is definitely enough.</p>
