aerospace dept at notre dame.
based on below mentioned profile please evalute my chances of admission....
my profile:
10th: 79%
12th: 92%
btech: 8.57/10 till now
GRE:- 1270(800+470)
TOEFEL:- 100(expected)</p>
<p>a bit about projects:
*. 3 national level paper publications.
1. being one of 25(selected from across the world) to attend space
camp by European Space Agency.
2. assisted maths professor on a project on numerical methods.
3. summer internship during may-june, 2008 at iit kanpur, aerospace
department.
4. founded an official rocketry club in my university with due
permission of the management.
5. currently leading a team of selected students working on a rocket
payload project sanctioned by Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, body of
Indian Space Research Organization.
worked on several other small projects....</p>
<p>Well, I am probably the only one on here that has applied to grad school, but it was for psychology which is a very different field. I think you should have a pretty good shot, especially with the publications, but take that with a huge grain of salt because I applied to PhD Psych programs so I don't know what aerospace looks for.</p>

is notre dame gud enough for aero.... websites are a bit elusive at times regarding this...</p>
<p>I am no longer a student at Notre Dame, and even if I was I would advise you to email Aero yourself. Here is their website Aerospace</a> and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Notre Dame. If anyone on the board is in Aero I am sure they will take a look at it, but I don't believe anyone is in that department.</p>
<p>ND's engineering isn't world-class, but it is solid and you can get plenty of jobs with it. I just wouldn't call it elite. </p>
<p>If you want to see how ND compares with other schools I would check out the US News rankings, they rank all different kinds of graduate programs including Engineering.</p>
