USNA's official Plebe Summer photographer has a website that posts each company's daily schedule, and only that day's schedule -- no looking ahead. I discovered the site about a week into Plebe Summer and every day I would check it to see what was going on. I do not remember ANY days off, weekends or otherwise. The closest thing to time off is when they would be scheduled for uniform fittings, eye exams, haircuts and, at the end of Plebe Summer, their field trips to Washington, DC, Fort McHenry and the Orioles game.

I believe the liberty the posters mentioned in the earlier posts were during Plebe Parents Weekend and after the Brigade returns.

plebes do not get any time "off" during plebe summer.... no liberty.... they will get one afternoon at a baseball game somewhere around the end of July/early august, but other than that, the first time they will get "liberty" off the yard will be during PPW...plebe parents weekend... aound the 12th of august (wherever the weekend falls).

Once the AC year starts, they will get town liberty after noon on sat, and yard liberty on sundays....unless they have watch, or other obligations that must be fulfilled. Mind you, this can, and does, change from year to year, but these are the current guidelines.

HTownTXBoi:
You said in your original question that your friend is "currently" a plebe... meaning he/she went in on I-Day of June 2006? If this is the case, by the time August rolls around/summer is done, your friend will no longer even be a plebe, but a youngster...so the ability to see you might be different. Perhaps you could clarify when your friend did go/is going into the USNA, and then those giving advice could respond with that knowledge in hand?
