Anyways, I think it would be really interesting to compare CC admit rates for prep schools vs. real acceptance rates. But, normally on these things if you get rejected, you just don't post, so i propose we make a pledge to share our results, FOR SCIENCE!! LOL anyways, </p>

<p>I, IB, pledge to post the results of admission that I will recieve from: Phillip’s Andover, Phillip’s Exeter, Hotchkiss, St. Paul’s, Choate and Kent assuming that I live past the shock of the moment(Filled with alot of tears from friends probably and alot of “delayed” shocks).</p>
<p>(not to turn off topic too far or for too long but…) These results will be slightly skewed because alot of the people on CC are top of the top. we aren’t seeing results from that kid who lives in a mud hut in Zimbabwe (ok, slightly too exaggerated…) but yea, it is possible that we could get a 50% (around) acceptance rate on this board. (oh, and in an attempt not to bring to thread off topic and to keep people pledging, don’t reply to this unless absolutely necessary)</p>

I know that (read the topic), the purpose of the thread is to find out just how much better CC applicants really are as compared to the official acceptance rates. The more people pledge, the more accurate the rates will be.</p>
<p>Okay… it’s been bothering mefor a while, so I just have to ask:
What does the “10char” after “bump” mean? I understand bump, just not the 10 character thing.</p>
