Actually, Brown is easier to get into than WashU (at least according to Princeton Review) I would try from PLME, but since it’s so ridiculously difficult, I wouldn’t expect anything. You probably have a really good shot on normal acceptance though. And don’t be too anal about your SATs, they’re perfectly good enough.

You don’t need to retake the Bio SAT II, and unless you are applying to schools that need a third SAT, you don’t need to take the chem one in the fall.

Why the frown next to your SATs. Don’t you realize that your SAT score is stellar – excellent, very very good. Be proud of that score!

The frown was because he said “SAT:” followed by a parenthetical statement, thus the forum parsing it as a frown.

BC Calc is the harder of the two…or at least the more in depth.

let me guess you’re at blair lol…I see we’ve done a couple of the same things like nih and mcr

and i’d say your stats for Brown PLME are average to high up, of course its still a reach though. But go for ED anyway, you could just get deferred and have another shot at RD if you dont make it

Average Brown PLME app. is about 1440 SAT (I guess they don’t look at writing?) and top 2% of their class. Insanely hard to get into. I heard first hand from a PLME at Brown…you are put in the Brown app. pool first, must be accepted through there, and then sent to the PLME board. I guess there are 50ish spots and 1500ish apps. So you can still go to Brown without being a PLME. EC’s are lacking for a Brown app., they weight EC’s heavily at Brown.
