Im really interested in browns PLME program but i havent read a single thing about it in any of these threads. anyone considering applying there or currently attending the program have anything to say about it?

you know Brown has a website for PLME which has everything you will ever want to know about PLME.

i know but i dont think it has information about the qualifications of its applicants...like just how perfect do u have to be to apply?

yea, eternity is right..the PLME website is enormous. Anyways, I've heard from a parent of a PLME kid and a kid who's going there this year that PLME doesn't look for that hardcore science kid aka research, volunteer, shadow..the BIG 3. It looks for that kid who is not necessarily well rounded, but just good at something. The kid I know who got in had a 32 ACT and was rank 20ish in his class, but was really good at extracaricullars.

I wouldn't take him as an example of who gets in to PLME b/c he thinks it was all luck. I'm sure most ppl are outstanding in everything...

I guess I'll get this thread going..with chances of course;

I won't list my EC's but will ask my chances based on stats only
