First I’d like to thank everyone on this forum for all the useful information they have shared. I’ve been lurking for a few months now and finally go the nerve to actually post a question.

My DD has decided to attend Brown’s PLME program, pursuing a neuroscience undergrad degree. I was wondering if anyone could share how the program prepares it’s students for med school. Will it prepare them for the rigor and long hours of med school? Granted she has a guaranteed spot at Warren Alpert, but will she be able to keep pace with the other med school students who get in the traditional way?
I guess I would also like to hear opinions on Warren Alpert as a med school, I realize they have a good match record but are there statistics on the match record of the plme students? How about research? Do plme students get tired of being in the same place for so long? Should she continue keep her options open to apply out if necessary? If so what would she need to do?

Sorry for such a long post. Appreciate any information you can share.
