Hey CCers!

I’m planning to apply RD for PLME at Brown, and I was wondering, would the ED people have gotten a huge advantage over the RD people in terms of getting first dibs on the very limited number of spots available? Are there statistics that answer this at all?

Secondly, for the two PLME essays, how long should each be? 500?

Thanks in advance for the replies!

I have an answer for your first question. This is mainly logical fact: Brown has an incentive to fill its PLME spots with the applicants it most wants. In other words, it's unlikely you would have been more successful had you applied early.

Early, I think Brown only accepts applicants it would have accepted regular. Brown tends to defer fudgey applicants and then accept them regular. The rest are ultimately rejected.

Hope this helps.

yes, each essay should be 500 words

Thanks for the replies, guys.
