PLME Question for Those Accepted into the Program

I have good standardized test numbers (SAT I: M 800, CR, 780; SAT II: Bio 780, Math II 800, Chem 790) and I have great paid, full-time internship with the best hospital in my state. The problem is that my high school is hard-core with grades. I’m ranked very high in a large class (~800 students), but I have two B plusses and two A minuses on my record. What’s worse is that some of these grades are in AP chem (2) and one in AP bio (the other is in calc). I know acceptance to PLME is extremely difficult but will my app be kicked automatically because of my B plusses are in science and calc, even though everything else looks good? Did any of you get accepted with less than straight A’s in science and math? I’ve already accepted that these grades may have taken my out of the running for acceptance into the hard-core science colleges, so I am now looking down my list of goals to see how much they’ll hurt me elsewhere, like PLME. Thanks to everyone!

My daughter was accepted and had some A minuses and B plusses in some math and science courses. She is strong in math and science and the rest of her record supported that (including teacher recommendations, and research). From your record I’m sure they will know you are good enough in math and science. I think they look at the whole picture and try to figure out if you are a caring person who is interested in medicine, and will make a good doctor. Like any other selective program something about your application has to grab them, but the math and science grades won’t be what determines their decision.

That’s exactly what I was looking for! Thanks Eagerdad.
