Is it possible to be admitted to PLME without having a strong science background. In other words, if an applicant did not take AP science in high school after later deciding that he/she was interested in medicine, can he/she still be accepted? Has this happened to anyone?

PLME is for people who have already demonstrated extreme talent in related fields which they feel is indicative of future success in medical school. Without having even engaged in challenging science courses it’d pretty much be impossible to demonstrate that. There isn’t a guaranteed medical program in the country that would take it all that seriously unless you have some extraordinary experience in some way which demonstrates that ability to an even greater degree.
