<p>Hi! i am from Hong Kong. </p>

<p>Tests:
- SAT 1970
- CR 550
- Maths 800
- Writing 620
- SAT Subj I think i will sit the Physics, Chemistry, and Maths 2 tests in Dec
- ACT didnt take
- AP Microeconomics 5
- AP Macroeconomic 3 (i basically homeschooled the APs. i did take them in my HS, but my HS covers only part of the AP curriculum)</p>

<p>GPA: I dont hv them yet.. probably around 3
Class rank: 82/149 at 11th grade
Recs: 3. one from my counsellor, one from my class teacher, and one from my economics teachers. My HS keep those confidential to me so i counldnt see what's written.
Essay: still working on it....</p>

<p>Others activities:
- member of school band, 4 yrs
- member of school orchesrta, 2 yrs
- chief librarian + associate conductor + section principal of school chinese orchestra, 2 yrs
- student founder of + principal of school percussion ensemble, 2 yrs
- school carnival game stall organising committee member, won the "most popular stall" prize, 1 yr
- commissioned to arrange two pieces for the school brass ensemble for overseas tour performance (btw they are super mario bros and raider's march!! yeah!!)
- school yearbook section editor, 1 yr
- committee member of 1 club, 1 yr
- member of 10 other clubs, 4 yrs
- member of community youth concert band, 4 yrs
- guest timpanist of a community mini opera production, 5 concerts
- guest timpanist for one service at the Diocese's cathedral, 1 service
- plus some miscellaneous community services, didnt hv much record. do i rly need them? it would be a little hard to prove/calculate the time for those </p>

<p>I think I will be applying for linguistics and/or economics, didnt take music major into too much consideration tho...
I also have some personal projects going on, including arranging the Planet Suite for percussion septet, and the Rite of Spring for concert band; and creating a language. I am working on a book for my language.</p>

<p>For top schools , SAT subject tests are also necessary . Consider giving ACT plus writing if the colleges allow.</p>

<p>You are definately going to have to pull you GPA up if it’s what you said it’s going to be and your SAT1 as previously stated. International student already have a hard time to begin with and a non-international student with +50 SAT and straight 4.0 would struggle to get into most of the schools on your list.</p>
