My chancing becomes more and more fail every time I do it, so you better hope that someone more helpful comes along. Plus my view has been screwed over by the other amazing people one CC. I actually think your ECs are quite impressive, SATs are great, GPA is okay and shows a bit of an upward trend, and course rigor is great as well. Not sure if coming from Hawaii gives you a better chance, but…

Well, apparently Stanford has the most unpredictable admissions ever, so good luck with that. Obvious reaches are obvious. There was a guy at my school who completely excelled in math and physics and was rejected from MIT due to his fail interview because he’s a bit of a shy one. I’d say you have a pretty good chance at UM, American, George Washington, and Georgetown.

Your GPA is low(but I had the same GPA and I was accepted to Harvard, Princeton, Yale, UPenn, Dartmouth, Vanderbilt, Boston College, and Rutgers.) At the same time though, your SAT is kinda low, I had a 2380 which obviously is not achievable by most but it put me over the top. Your ECs are great though because it seems like you found your niche and have been state/nation recognized.

Disclaimer: My guesses will be mostly accurate but you need to realize that it’s always a chance and it also depends on how strong your recommendations and essays are.

P.s. The ivies are so difficult to reach, and you don’t seem highly qualified but I would go for it!

Stanford- Reach
University of Michigan-Low reach/match
Cornell-Reach
Dartmouth-Low reach
MIT-High reach(although you have great ECs almost all of the students who apply have yours but doubled, and better grades/scores)
Harvard-high reach
Columbia- impossible(just kidding but I got wait-listed, their admissions are kind or weird)
Princeton- High reach
American- safety
George Washington-match/safety
Georgetown-match
United States Air Force Academy-not too sure but I would say low/medium reach because they look for specific characteristics which I don’t think you really exhibit.

Your SATs are low I suggest taking the ACT or the SATs again in October.

thanks everyone who posted a response, it really helps :)
