<p>english has never been my subject. this year (freshman year), i took honors english, and i am really struggling. next year, i plan to take multiple aps. i am not sure whether i should take honors english or not, because if i dont, i can certainly get an a in regular and focus on my multiple aps.</p>

<p>I don’t know who HYP are looking for. I imagine a well-rounded amazing at everything student.</p>
<p>If you would be crestfallen upon receiving a rejection from these schools, I suggest you take AP English, and get an English tutor for the summer and school year. If you are willing to pay for HYP, then you should be willing to pay for an English tutor. If you just see expensive ones, keep looking…there must be someone cheaper. Either that, or ask a friend who is good at English to help you.</p>
