I would say that you need to get your test scores up. It might sound harsh but a 29 is low for Penn. You should probably aim for a 33+ if you are planning to take it again. Your GPA is fine, just make sure you are taking the most rigorous curriculum. ECs are also fine…but for your app to work, your passion must shine through your essays. Bring the intangible info to the forefront (stuff that you can’t mention in your app like ur personality). That being said, you should apply. Anything is possible, try to get your test scores up and you will be a competitive applicant.
Thanks for the reply. I’ve been studying my butt off so I hope my scores approve when I retest. Are you familiar with the other ivies? If so, do you think Penn is my most likely choice out of them, or do I have a shot at Columbia?
outta reach for penn, you can still apply but it might be better to focus on some slightly lower schools; you have a slightly higher chance for columbia
