My teacher asks for a 200 words college essay about my topic of my choice and its the same thing my college wants

The Perfect Mix:

No, not another science project for a class, but was a competition demanding application of the material learnt. I knew it would be a daunting task to rush in the project on the deadline, chunking would be essential to put up a well-prepared show. Project starts with selection of a concept to work on; thermal expansion of different metals was my pick. A checklist with materials required, data collection, and analysis was made to fit in the preparation schedule spread over time. Materials were collected to make controlled experimentation using appropriate technique under different conditions, repetition was employed to check validity of the results, and observations were carefully documented for presentation. Analysis was done using graphical methods for quantitative data to complement the findings. A mix of both well-versed preparation and effective presentation skills are on the stand to face the challenge. Number of students participating in the competition with application of more advanced topics slightly pushed me on the negative slope, but I was able to concentrate and focus on my project backed with confidence in my preparation for the science fair. Effective presentation skills locked with comprehensive preparation did do the trick, qualifying my project as the best. Defined long-term planning and arrant preparation guided with proper assistance earned me a deserved position in the competitive show.
