<p>want to get into UMKC 6yr med program
These are my stats:
idk if it matters, but im a junior in high school
Applying out of state
GPA: 4.0/4.4
Class rank: 50/327 kids at my school are all like all geniuses :(
ACT: 32
SAT: Taking in January
AP US HIS: 4
AP EURO: 4
AP ENG 11: 5
AP GOVT:5
AP BIO: 5
AP CHEM:4</p>

<p>ECs n Stuff:
-20hrs a week of local hospital volunteering
-tutoring kids at my church on Friday nights
-Sunday School teacher
-Play piano for youth and kids chior in church
-Vounteer at library over the summer
-FBLA
-Future Doctors of America
-Future medical careers club
-Little buddies Club (helping little kids out with reading at local elementary school)
-Speak 5 languages fluently</p>

<p>I really want to be a pediatrician and am very interested in the 6 yr program at UMKC, any feedback/suggestions would be great. Please chance me on getting into the program</p>

<p>Oh man, I have six friends applying to UMKC this year.</p>

<p>Well, I don’t know much about UMKC, but I had several friends last year who got in. One friend had a pretty low SAT score and didn’t really get in anywhere else except for UCSD, which is decent. I had another friend who was waitlisted and got in later, and she’d gotten into both UCLA and Berkeley. </p>

<p>Show more passion for the medical field. Are there any opportunities for job-shadowing or internships near you? You should check that out. I think you already have a pretty nice chance though, and you still have time!</p>
