How favorably do admissions committees look at applicants with heavy class loads?

Over the summer, I took 21 credits. For the current fall term, I am taking 25 credits.

How favorably do admissions committees look at applicants with heavy class loads?

Over the summer, I took 21 credits. For the current fall term, I am taking 25 credits.

Is your question whether that counts as an equal to GPA? In what context?

i'm a nontrad application -

38 credits at time of application for spring 2006 term
3.66 GPA

Expected cum gpa after fall term - 3.8 w/ 63 credits total

because of my overload, will adcoms give me a bit more leeway to my gpa? The current schools I am hoping to get into look for applicants with a GPA of 3.8 or higher

I should think it will work toward you and not against you. Good Luck

i hope its good enough for UVA

It depends on what courses you are taking. 25 hours of basketweaving will not get your application in the admit pile.
